ooh! ooh! I’m awake and not even tired! haha maybe jet lag will hit later, but for now, I’m up and running, and transferring all of my pictures onto my computer. AND! My ouzo didn’t break, so that is also good news. Also, I know that I would love to have a get together – you all were fantastic travel companions.

I wonder if we are the only two travelers to Greece who are actually awake and beginning to reassembel life in Virginia. Let me just echo your sentiments about the trip. This year’s group was FABULOUS!! I enjoyed the travel with you all tremendously!! Now I have the pleasure of journals to read and projects to evaluate. More about that later. Please let me know if you are interested in a post-Greece get together. I can host it–

Very early Tuesday morning–I and missing bag have been reunited. Hope that the homecomings for all were warm and successful. It was great fun traveling with all of you.

That lunch was from our very first day, so please forgive me for looking completely bewildered. 10 hours on a plane followed by an immediate march into a foreign city can do that to a girl!

I would like to add, that Katie Brown and I snuck into the hole in the earth (she snuck, I took photographic evidence) after said lady in heels went wandering away. I don’t know why she trusted that we would stay out of it once she left…

I’m glad to hear the geezer magnet still has its pull. What a big day in Athens. I look forward to a full album of photos–maybe when you come to visit me in NYC. I should be familiar with a few wine bars by the time you get here.

Just back at work today and enjoying the blog! Photos and descriptions make me want to dig out my passport and do something foolish. Hope you’re having even more fun now and will travel smoothly and safely home.

Bryant Park market has tomatoes, too, red, yellow and those yummy dark red ones!
